Preeti Shah is a Queens-based Indian American poet who was a Brooklyn Poets 2019 Fall Fellowship Finalist. She has work upcoming in Construction and Newtown Literary. She works in the healthcare field and enjoys drawing portraits with watercolor pencils, depicting emotional connection. She grew up outside of Philly, where she enjoyed running trails along the Wissahickon to the art museum and spending many a "summer night" at Penn Museum.
