A Sort of Proposition

Simon Ravenscroft

I was reading
was reading Frank again
the lines about exposure to light
and captured time and really
I guess just the focussed intensity
of that magnetic brilliance of intimacy
in which time becomes a sort of
vertical tunnel or pillar
of well brilliance sort of
ecstatic shivering light and you know
where clocks are irrelevant
or whatever
there’s just these bodies
kairotic
and I was thinking about
how much
sort of
how much I want that
instead of just
this bullshit all the time
could be you know
with you or with
or with somebody else
or maybe yeah
with you
maybe
would love to
maybe
